Estate planning begins with a consultation at which we identify and discuss estate tax considerations and the client’s desires for the disposition of the estate and then recommend the preparation of the appropriate wills or trust documents to best match the clients’ situation. We also will discuss and make recommendations on the use of durable powers of attorneys and directives to physicians as part of the estate planning process.
When it is time to settle an estate, we strive to assist clients with the steps necessary to settle the estate with as little inconvenience and cost as possible. However, if there are disputes or complications affecting the estate, we have experience resolving them through negotiations and, where needed, litigation.
